Sword Art Online Codexery — Data & Quality

We publish our audit record because accuracy claims should be checkable. Every entry on this site runs through an automated fact-audit pipeline (accuracy audit → source-grounded repair → visual QA); this page is generated from that pipeline's own report, not written by hand.

This is a fiction/fan codex: entries describe an in-universe canon. Our audits check canon and internal consistency — external fact-checking does not apply the way it does on real-subject codexes.

Recent findings (audit lane, verbatim)

Kirito — The entry states that 300 SAO players, including Asuna, remain trapped in their NerveGear, but in canon Asuna is not among them as her consciousness is held in ALO by Sugou.

Kirito — The entry says Kazuto meets Shouzou Yuuki and that Sugou asks him to make a decision, but in canon Sugou pressures Shouzou regarding the marriage, and the phrasing is misleading about the meeting and the request.

Eugeo — The entry states that Kirito and Eugeo enrolled in the Swordsman Academy in Centoria after cutting down the Gigas Cedar. In canon, they enrolled in the North Centoria Imperial Swordsmanship Academy, not simply 'Swordsman Academy'.

Eugeo — The entry says 'About a year in, the two prevented an attempted violation of their pages and killed their attackers'. In canon, the incident occurs after about two years at the academy, not one year.

Klein — During a boss fight at the Shibuya stage, Klein is physically attacked and defeated by Eiji, the number-two ranked player. In the film, Eiji is the number-one ranked player, not number two.

Yuuki Konno — Yuuki's weapon is a rapier named 'Black Lily', but in canon her rapier is unnamed; 'Black Lily' is not an official name for her weapon.

Yuuki Konno — The claim that she died from AIDS is incorrect; she died from complications of HIV infection.

Foresight — The entry states the guild was 'Knights of the Blood', but the correct name is 'Knights of the Blood Oath' (or 'Blood Knights' in some translations).

Foresight — The entry states Kirito never joined the Knights of the Blood, which is false; Kirito officially joined the guild after the Floor 74 boss battle and was a member until the duel on Floor 75.

RATH — RATH's first appearance is in the Alicization arc, not the Phantom Bullet arc.

RATH — The Mediator is not a RATH creation; it is a device used in the Alicization project, not a separate major breakthrough like the Soul Translator.

The Seed Project — RECT Inc. is not a subsidiary of RATH; in canon, RECT Inc. is a subsidiary of RECT, which is a separate company from RATH.

The Seed Project — The Medicuboid and Soul Translator are not compatible with the Seed Project; the Seed is designed for consumer full-dive devices like NerveGear and Amusphere, but the Medicuboid is a medical device and the Soul Translator is a separate, advanced RATH technolog

Knights of the Blood Oath — The guild is called 'Knights of the Blood' in the official English translation, not 'Knights of the Blood Oath'.

Knights of the Blood Oath — Godfree is not a canon member of the Knights of the Blood; the correct name is Godfrey, and he is a member of the guild.
