Integrity Knights

The Integrity Knights are introduced as the elite force serving the Central Cathedral. Key members include Deusolbert, the Integrity Knight who took Alice away; Linel and Fizel, the two youngest Integrity Knights; Fanatio; and Alice herself. The knights are tasked with upholding the Taboo Index. Deusolbert was defeated by Kirito and Eugeo as they trekked up the tower. Linel and Fizel were outsmarted by the pair. After defeating Fanatio, Kirito and Alice were separated from Eugeo. Later, Kirito was forced to fight Eugeo, who had been corrupted into becoming an Integrity Knight. Kirito defeated him and returned him to his senses. After the battle with Administrator Quinella, Alice returned to Rulid Village with Kirito and took care of him. She noted that it was because of him that she hung up her sword. After the Dark Territory began their plans to attack the Human World, Alice was forced to go back to the front lines and took Kirito with her.

In Their Own Story

Dusk settled over the Royal Capital as Eugeo adjusted his gauntlets. The blue fabric of his uniform rustled softly in the cool breeze. He stood guard before the massive gates, watching citizens return home from the day's labor. In his hand, the sword felt familiar, a weight he had carried since childhood. A messenger approached with urgent news from the Cathedral. Eugeo nodded solemnly, accepting the order without question. Yet deep within his heart, a small doubt lingered about the true nature of their duty. He tightened his grip on the hilt and stepped forward into the shadows, ready to serve whatever command came next.
